Port Everglades Rolls Out New Cruise Guide

The  Port Everglades Cruise Guide, released for the start of the 2008 winter Caribbean cruise season, has a new look and feel with a thought-provoking graphic on the cover and 64 pages of ships, tips and sightseeing suggestions for Greater Fort Lauderdale.

"The first thing we hope you will notice is the eye-catching cover with a rollercoaster on the deck of a cruise ship. This graphic is part our new advertising campaign to the cruise industry, which is designed to grab the reader's attention and then let them know that Port Everglades is prepared to handle any challenge they throw our way," said Port Everglades Director Phillip C. Allen. "Inside, you will notice more references to the Greater Fort Lauderdale area, which is part of an effort to raise awareness among cruise passengers that Broward County is a great vacation destination and they should plan pre- and post-cruise vacations here."

The 2008 Port Everglades Cruise Guide  lists 15 cruise lines, 40 cruise ships and nearly 2,000 itineraries to the Caribbean, Bahamas, the Panama Canal, South America and worldwide.
