Port Suspends ID Applications 

 The Port Everglades ID Office has temporarily suspended the application process for new or renewal badges until the morning of Tuesday, July 7, due to issues associated with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's implementation of changes to the Florida Seaport Security Statute.  However, a Port ID Badge is still necessary to enter Port Everglades.  If you have already applied for a Port ID Badge, the ID Office will be open for pick-up only.  If you have a badge that is scheduled to expire in early July, please call the Port Everglades Security Manager at 954-468-0115 to make alternative arrangements.

Port Everglades, along with other Florida seaports, are working to remedy this situation as soon as possible.  You will be notified when ID Badge applications are being processed again.
